The roof is one of the most important parts of your home. It keeps you dry and warm but surprisingly it’s one of the most neglected parts of your property.
Your roof would benefit from regular maintenance. This would ensure there are no damaged or cracked tiles and that it’s weatherproof. Cosmetically, if it needs a clean then it can be pressure washed or painted.
Pressure washing your roof could prolong its life as it will prevent the build up of mould and lichen. These can cause your roof tiles to become fragile and crack which in turn can lead to water leaks. Of course, if that happens it’s likely that it would cause some sort of damage and even lead to structural weakness leaving your roof vulnerable during strong wind or a storm.
